Hi Fi Writer - Stephen Dawson - Letter on Donald Horne

A brief letter to the Editor against Donald Horne's cultural chauvinism, published in The Australian, 18 December 1989, p.10.

'... the main issue was the right of the Australian people to read a wide variety of books written about Australia and/or by Australians ...' says Donald Horne (The Australian, 8/12). Shouldn't there be a full stop after 'books', or is he getting culture confused with chauvinism?
