{"id":1906,"date":"2010-06-13T14:01:41","date_gmt":"2010-06-13T04:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hifi-writer.com\/wpblog\/?p=1906"},"modified":"2010-06-13T14:01:41","modified_gmt":"2010-06-13T04:01:41","slug":"full-metal-bitrates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/hifi-writer.com\/wpblog\/?p=1906","title":{"rendered":"Full Metal Bitrates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m working on something at the moment for this site, and stumbled across something interesting: the video bitrates for <a title=\"First FMJ Blu-ray release\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hifi-writer.com\/he\/bdreviews\/fullmetaljacket.htm\">the original, terrible, release<\/a> of <em>Full Metal Jacket<\/em> on Blu-ray, and <a title=\"FMJ Deluxe vs original\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hifi-writer.com\/he\/bdreviews\/fullmetaljacketdeluxe.htm\">the considerably improved, remastered Deluxe edition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The original one had an average video bitrate of 23.70Mbps in MPEG2 format, while the improved one got by with 17.07Mbps in VC1 format.
