They also mentioned that they were finding their earphone range quite popular and had introduced a <a href=\"http:\/\/au.yamaha.com\/en\/products\/audio-visual\/headphones\/eph-100_silver_w\/?mode=model\">new high-end model<\/a>, plus a set of <a href=\"http:\/\/au.yamaha.com\/en\/products\/audio-visual\/headphones\/hph-200_w\/?mode=model\">conventional on-ear hifi headphones<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Which brought to mind my very first set of headphones, which I bought in the mid-1970s. They were the Yamaha HP-1 Orthodynamic Headphones, which had received an excellent review in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.avhub.com.au\/index.php\/Magazine\/Hi-Fi\/\">Australian HI-FI<\/a><\/em>. I used them for many years, and now my son has them.<\/p>\n<p>And they are still worth something. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.head-fi.org\/t\/494242\/fs-yamaha-hp-1-vintage-orhodynamic-headphone\">Looks like someone sold their pair last year<\/a> for about $75. Not bad after 35 years!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> And this morning I received an email from someone who&#8217;s interested in buying them! I&#8217;ve passed it on to my son, but it&#8217;s interesting that there is this interest in vintage equipment.<\/p>\n<p>As to less vintage equipment, anyone like to purchase a Yamaha RX-V3900 home theatre receivers?
