After my disappointing experience a couple of months ago, I was a bit worried that I might not enjoy the movie due to picture quality.<\/p>\n<p>Different screen within the cinema, though. I was at Screen 1  , and the black levels were quite respectable, without any evident light splash onto dark areas of the picture from light sections.<\/p>\n<p>By respectable, I mean nothing like the best of home theatre projector black levels, but certainly not bright enough to be distracting. There seemed to be a bit of image smearing during fast camera pans that looked to me like it was caused by the projector response time, rather than during photography, but that was only a couple of times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night I went to see The Hunger Games at my local cinema, Limelight at Tuggeranong.
