Included are a couple of the Sony Blu-ray players. The editor, Jez Ford, tells me that the prices have plummetted since I wrote the reviews a couple of months ago. When I wrote it, the price of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sony.com.au\/product\/bdp-s360\">Sony BDP-S360 <\/a>was $AU449. Now it is just $269! That&#8217;s a 40% reduction.<img class=\"alignright\" style=\"margin: 10px;\" title=\"Sony BDP-S760 Blu-ray player\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hifi-writer.com\/blog\/graphics\/sonybdps760.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nLikewise &#8212; actually, even more impressively &#8212;\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sony.com.au\/product\/bdp-s560\">Sony BDP-S560 <\/a>was $549 and now it is $289, reduced by 53%.<\/p>\n<p>For the\u00a0additional $20 you get\u00a0built-in WiFi, so that makes it a very useful player.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sony.com.au\/product\/bdp-s760\">Sony BDP-S760<\/a> has also been reduced, but only from $729 to $649, a far more modest reduction. This adds multichannel analogue audio outputs and a headphone socket.<\/p>\n<p>They do pretty well with regular Blu-ray discs, but not so well with 1080i50 material.
