Being shot in 1984, and done in a documentary shaky-cam style, it is far from the sharpest of Blu-rays on the market &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Hang on. I was just about to write: &#8216;In fact, it might even have been shot in 16mm, given the relatively soft and grainy image.&#8217; Then I thought it might be smart to check. According to IMDB, it was indeed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0088258\/technical\">shot in Super 16<\/a>, which is a single sprocket hole version of 16mm film\u00a0allowing a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/File:16mm_and_super16.png\">slightly wider frame<\/a>. Which explains a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, the Blu-ray is much cleaner than the DVD, and a bit more detailed.
