About

I am one of Australia’s leading freelance writers on home entertainment equipment: high fidelity, home theatre, the equipment required, and the software that it uses.

Based in Canberra, Australia, I have had over three thousand articles published in both local and national publications, mostly reviews of equipment. I have also reviewed computer software, mobile phones, notebook computers, computer sound cards and speakers, DVDs, digital cameras and a range of other gadgets, plus I have written analysis pieces on technology and a range of ‘how to’ pieces.

And have had op-ed pieces on political matters published in The Canberra Times and the ABC Online site ‘The Drum‘. For close to ten years I wrote a regular column for The Institute of Public Affairs Review on libertarian and free enterprise Web sites.

The publications in which my work has appeared are: 24 Hours, The Adelaide Advertiser, The Age, Appliance Retailer, Atomic, The Australian, Australian HI-FI, Australian Home Entertainment Buyers Guide, Australian InCar Entertainment, Australian Mobiles, Australian PC Review, Australian PC User, Australian PC World, Australian Personal Computer, Australian Smart Home Ideas, Best Buys, The Bulletin, The Canberra Times, cnet.com.au, Connected Home Solutions, The Courier Mail, The Daily Telegraph, DVD Now, DVD+, Geare, The Herald Sun, Home Cinema & Hi-Fi Living Yearbook, The Institute of Public Affairs Review, Luxury Home Design, MP3 Plus, Next Music, Next Power Guide to Digital Cameras, PC Authority, PC PowerPlay, Popular Science, Quadrant, Rolling Stone, Sound and Image, The Sunday Times (WA), the (sydney) magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, Ugnayan and Your Computer.
