As you can see, the US version has a much higher video bitrate, and uses DD rather than LPCM for the audio. I don’t think those things will make much of a practical difference. If they came from the same restored print, then they ought to be pretty much the same. The US version is region free, so you may want to get ahold of it to compare. Just remember, it is a nearly 60 year old movie, so there are limits to how good it can look.
